From a personal perspective, I have lived on the Cape my whole life, my parents live here, my grandparents live here and most of my family are still living here. We are rooted here. Five years ago we started our work day like any other. We geared up, grabbed our cruiser keys, and headed out on patrol. In the early afternoon we heard our radios crackle with two devastating words “Officer Down”…….
We keep Sean’s memory alive by being the type of police officer he was; kind, thorough, dedicated, caring, helpful, devoted.
We look to Sean’s family and YPD colleagues for strength.
