We are familiar with the expression; "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." Another fruit that is beneficial to your health is the banana.

Bananas are a great way to help one get the recommended amount of potassium each day. Getting enough potassium in your diet helps to lower blood pressure, which is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease. In a 2020 study involving more than four million people, eating a banana

daily was associated with a 24 percent lower risk for coronary heart disease.

Also eating a banana before bed may help get a good night's sleep as they are rich in magnesium, potassium, vitamin B6, carbs, and fiber all of which can improve sleep quality. (Heart of Wellness, HOW, newsletter.)
