Liminal Rites

If you’ve been here for awhile, you know I took a break from growing this work as I moved through some personal transitions over the last of couple years. Thanks for hanging out with me through the pivots and bumps🫶🏼

The days are getting longer here in Maine, and I feel my creative energy returning to me after taking plenty of time to court my seeds and tend my roots! I look forward to stepping into service this year, starting with postpartum care.

Postpartum care is preventative care.

Cultures worldwide have recognized the first forty days following birth to be a critical time of recovery for centuries, understanding that the quality of healing in the postpartum is a determining factor for future health or dis-ease. When we encourage the body’s natural ability to heal in the weeks following birth, we fortify our health for the task of raising young ones, future pregnancies, menopause, and all the years in between.

My approach to postpartum care, informed by my training with , focuses on rebuilding the constitution through an extended period of rest, warmth, appropriate nourishing foods, bodywork, and community care. As a postpartum care provider, my role is to guide and support you through these essential pillars of healing.

Celebrating that in 2023 I finally found a haircut that feels like me.

…after several years of spiritual expansion and a complete reorganizing of my values and orientation to life, 2023 has been slow and uncomfortable integration process. Anyone else with me? Holding you.

I have not been expressing creative energy in this space for several months, and while I value the connection and community on this platform(even in periods of creative pause), I am being called to cultivate more presence in my day to day routine as I celebrate my 33rd birthday and the winter solstice.

((I feel like instagram is siphoning my life-force and I’m turning into a slug-person!))

So. I’m going into hibernation to attune more deeply with the forest kin and the desires of my own true heart!
