Meet Fred, Clinical Coordinator at Walkway to Healing.
Fred does not just understand recovery from a textbook. He understands it because he has lived through the kind of darkness most people never talk about out loud.
Active addiction. He**in. Coke. Prison. Treatment. Rebuilding.
Now, Fred uses his story to help others find their way forward.
At Walkway to Healing, his role is bigger than a job title. He helps clients get where they need to go, coordinates appointments, picks up medication, supports the team, and most importantly, makes sure people feel seen the moment they walk through the door.
Because he knows how stressful that first step can be.
Fred says one of the biggest things that sets Walkway apart is that clients are not just handed support. They are taught how to navigate life, take responsibility, and build a foundation they can actually stand on.
