The IRC in Silver Spring is hosting a 40-hour, 8-day hybrid “Community Interpreter” training for bilingual individuals looking to expand their skills and open new career opportunities.

📅Training Dates:
In-person: December 10th - 12th (9:30 AM–4:30 PM)
Online: December 15th - 19th (10 AM–2 PM)
Fee: $315

Qualifications:
✅Bilingual, with advanced English proficiency
✅Age 18+
✅High school diploma or equivalent
✅Must attend all sessions and pass the final exam

All languages are welcome. Join us in building stronger communication and language access in our communities.

The IRC Baltimore office is a proud participant in the Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) AmeriCorps VISTA Project. The TMA program helps organizations like the IRC strengthen their anti-poverty efforts and better serve the Baltimore community.

📌 Our current TMA AmeriCorps VISTA member, Angela, is collaborating with the Community Engagement team at the IRC in Baltimore office.

📌 Angela’s work at the Baltimore office has focused on identifying community resources, strengthening volunteer programs, and supporting the Community Engagement team’s outreach and initiatives.

🤝 AmeriCorps service members like Angela play a vital role in helping the IRC in Baltimore make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
