Happy Father's Day, Dads!

At Creative Nomads, we know that some of life's most important moments don't happen in grand gestures; they happen in the everyday conversations, shared experiences, laughter, lessons, and memories that shape relationships over time.

That's why we created Drumming With Dad. We need YOU to help us keep the program going with a donation today, with the link in our bio.

For years, Drumming With Dad has brought fathers, other male caregivers, and their children together through African drumming, culture, movement, community, and outdoor experiences. What begins with rhythm becomes something much bigger: stronger connections, increased confidence, shared traditions, and meaningful time together.

Since launching the program, more than 250 fathers and children have participated in this unique experience, culminating in Camp Dad, where families continue building memories beyond the summer months.

Today, as we celebrate fathers and father-figures everywhere, we're also asking for your support.

Programs that celebrate and invest in positive male engagement, Black fatherhood, and family connection matter. Your gift helps us provide free programming, transportation assistance, supplies, meals, cultural experiences, and Camp Dad opportunities for participating families.

💛 Help us keep the rhythm going.
🥁 Help us bring more dads and kids together.
🌳 Help us create another unforgettable summer.

Donate $25 today using the link in our bio or QR code in the graphics.

Community-centered arts organizations like Creative Nomads don't exist because people like our work. We exist because people choose to support it.

This Juneteenth, let's move beyond admiration and into action.

Freedom is not just something we commemorate. It is something we build.

Every mural painted, every artist hired, every young person introduced to creative expression, every family gathered around a shared experience contributes to a stronger, more connected community.

The creative economy matters.

Artists are entrepreneurs. They are educators. They are taxpayers. They are homeowners. They are community builders.

When we invest in Black artists and Black-led organizations, we invest in neighborhoods, local economies, cultural preservation, and opportunities for future generations.

So today, as we celebrate Juneteenth, we invite you to think about how you support the things you value.

If Creative Nomads has inspired you, taught you, connected you, or brought beauty into your community, consider taking the next step:

Donate.
Share our work.
Attend a program.
Invite a friend.
Wear the merch.
Spread the word.

The future of Black arts and culture depends not only on creativity, but on community investment.

What if summer wasn’t just a season Comrades, but a shift? A shift toward connection. Toward creativity. Toward showing up for each other in ways that feel intentional and real. Through art, we’re creating opportunities for families to bond, for artists to lead, and for communities to come together in spaces that feel welcoming and alive.

This is the work. And summer is when it shines.

Be part of it.
