The Clinical Informatics program within the University of Maryland School of Graduate Studies invites the public to its monthly conference sessions as part of the school’s Clinical Informatics Conference course.
The next free virtual conference session will take place on Thursday, April 2, from noon to 2 p.m. ET. The topic for the April session is Health Information Systems. Attendees can join using Zoom.

We offer a 12-credit Graduate Certificate and a 34-credit Master of Science in Clinical Informatics. Complete your Graduate Certificate in 9 months of online coursework or a Master of Science in 2-3 years. Applications accepted for the Fall Semester until July 1st.
Our curriculum focuses on biomedical data, clinical process improvement, and computational systems applied to the practice of medicine. The program also covers the latest data science tools, machine learning techniques, methods for big data processing, leadership, professionalism, and ethics. I'm very excited to announce a new graduate program in Clinical Informatics at the University of Maryland Baltimore, starting Fall 2023. We are offering a 12-credit Graduate Certificate and a 34-credit Master of Science. The program is presented in a hyflex environment, allowing students to complete all requirements online.
The program is a joint effort between the University of Maryland Baltimore and UMBC. The core faculty are all practicing physicians from the School of Medicine who are board certified in Clinical Informatics, assisted by other faculty with training in Computer Science, Data Science, and Epidemiology. I'm the Program Director, and will be teaching some of the core courses.
