Carrington Scott is a young Black union and community activist who has always stood up for those facing racism and injustice. The Walters Art Museum, his former employer, targeted and fired him for his role as a union steward and for his activism outside of work.

We reject any attempt to silence or intimidate those who organize for justice. The firing of Carrington Scott is an attack on the broader progressive political movement against Donald Trump’s anti-Black and anti-immigrant policies.

We stand in solidarity with Carrington and demand that the Walters Art Gallery reinstate him to his position, with full back pay and restoration of all benefits.
