Groups from Baltimore and beyond can register to spend a week at The Center, where they will partner with a local congregation to focus on a particular issue such as the environment, housing, or immigration. Groups immerse themselves in a hands-on experience, while at the same time learning about larger issues. The Center’s goal is that groups return home with a renewed sense of call, energized to make changes in their communities.

Hello friends! If you know of anyone looking for a summer internship, we are still hiring!

Local churches are dreaming big about what’s possible with some extra hands and feet on the ground, and groups are signing up to join us!
All we need now is for you to join our staff!

Tis the season for 2022 registrations! We still have a few summer spaces available!
The COVID safety highlights:
-Your group will have the space to itself. -We’ve installed air filtration systems.
-We have all outdoor sites available.
-Masks worn at all sites.
-All participants vaccinated.
Bonus highlights:
-Sound theology and practical skills you can take home with you in our curriculum.
-Time with local leaders and with church folks reimagining mission in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
-A partnership with the Office of Public Witness in DC that lets you have an advocacy day on the Hill.
Our program fees are changing in the New Year, but you still have a couple weeks to register at our current rates.

Another partner highlight for you!
The North Baltimore Presbyterians is a group of congregations banding together to work alongside neighbors in the Woodbourne-McCabe community. Right now, you can find them playing a raucous game of kickball the first Saturday of the month - including this Saturday from 10-12!
