For most Sundays, you can expect that we will sing 3 hymns, hear readings from the Bible, a children’s conversation, a sermon, a time of prayer, and special music by our choir or guest musicians. Several Sundays a year are reserved for special observances, such as World Communion Sunday or All Saints Day. We always begin worship with the words, “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at Zion.” The members and friends of the Zion United Church of Christ welcome all persons, regardless of ethnic heritage, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, relationship status, or religious background.
