LOVE is coming to Lompoc!

Michael Owen is creating a unique mural inside Jupiter’s Spark and collaborating with Angelina LaPointe on a limited run of prints. Stop by 101 S. H St. on Feb. 6, during First Thursday’s artwalk. Both artists will be in their newly opened back room, clearly seen from Ocean Ave. for a mural signing and print release.

Michael has painted an image of four hands shaping the word “LOVE” since 2007. The first 20 murals were in Baltimore, before spreading across the country, including Hollywood and Compton. Lompoc will be host the first flower child/60’s motif…fitting for our “Flower City” moniker and aesthetic of Jupiter’s Spark. Angelina aka Sidecar Press is utilizing her 129 year old press, next door, for the collaboration. 4 designs will be available for sale, within the run of 100 prints, signed by both artists. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help artists affected by wildfires through the Craft Emergency Relief Fund.
