Throwback Thursday!!! Who remembers our virtual plunges for Special Olympics Maryland? Should we throw a snow dance party Saturday or Sunday night?

Ravens season ends, so girl dad duty kicks in.
Taking Philly’s #1 fan to the Divisional Playoff at home vs. the 49ers.
Wearing green for personal safety… and to support my girl, Maddie. 💚

This has been a tough football week here.

The Ravens’ loss is still lingering… and now the news of John Harbaugh being fired as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens.

I know everyone has opinions on whether Coach Harbaugh should or shouldn’t have remained, but I want to focus on one thing:

Coach Harbaugh is a great man.

He has been a champion for the city of Baltimore. His commitment to the community, and the culture he helped build within the Ravens organization will live on.

I think about the people he brought into the Ravens family — Mo Gaba, O.J. Brigance, and so many others — and what always stood out was this:

It was family first.

That kind of culture is rare these days.

Coaches will always be scrutinized, because only one team can win each week. And sometimes, unfortunately, change happens.

As a fan, my hope moving forward is that the Ravens find a new leader who incorporates many of the things Coach Harbaugh led with — family, integrity, and being a truly classy individual.

Thank you, Coach Harbaugh, for everything you gave to this city.
You were a role model for young football players.
You were a teacher and mentor to countless coaches, going on to become coaches/leaders across the league — and everyone knows where their start was: right here in Baltimore.

The Ravens will miss you.
And the city of Baltimore will miss you.

Well, another heartbreakingly disappointing ending to the Ravens season has come to an end.

When you truly love your team, it hurts—especially when the season ends on one single, crushing moment. But that’s sports. Great games often end in heartbreak for one side, and this was one of them.

The photo you see here isn’t one you’ll find on any front page. Instead of instantly pointing fingers, blaming coaches, or debating who should be fired, it captures something else entirely:

Football is entertainement unless you are playing and that was one hell of a football game played by both teams, decided by a kick from a rookie—likely in the hardest stadium in the NFL to make it.

For us Ravens fans, it’s going to be a long offseason once again.

I truly hope that young man Loop can move forward from that moment. I can’t imagine the pressure. I can’t imagine carrying that responsibility, walking back to the sideline, and facing your teammates knowing the weight of it all. But that’s the reality of the game—and the burden kickers accept when they step into those moments.

Now I’m not sure what’s worse today: all the smack talk I’m going to hear, or dealing with my own daughter this morning as she begins her quest for another Eagles Super Bowl run.😭😭

To all my fellow Ravens fans—keep your chins up. This one hurts. No doubt about it.

Because being a fan isn’t about the easy endings—it’s about showing up again next season, believing all over again, and wearing the colors no matter how much it hurts. 🟣🖤

PS I hope the Steelers lose next week by 30🤪 Go Ravens!
