The 10 am worship for the Seventh Sunday in Easter (May 17, 2026) is focused on St. Paul’s reminder to the Philippian Church to think of others more and be humble in Philippians 2:1-13. The Rev. Sandra Carlson Alexis preached and officiated.
The deacon was Marya Zeigler; the reader was Laurel Bassett; the crucifer was Zoe Bassett; the usher was John Rolker; the communion helper was Ryan Bassett. Psalm 68:32-35 was sung responsively with the choir. We sang "Come You Faithful, Raise the Strain,” “At the Name of Jesus,” and “Lord Dismiss Us With Your Blessing.” The Communion Anthem was ”Crowded Table” (arr. Andrea Ramsey). Music was led by our Minister of Music and choirmaster Joann Moorer along the First English Choir: Leah Inger, Chet Myers, Jorge Ramirez-Sanchez, Dorothy Stalberg, Mairin Srygley, and Norah Worthington.
