The Films are shown at the very end of Broadway Pier with the screen closest to the end/water. One of the best places to watch an outdoor movie in the city, with breezes off the water and so many great shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a free event put on by Preservation Society of Federal Hill & Fell’s Point and a few dedicated neighbors. However, we will gladly accept donations to ensure it’s s
omething we can continue to do in the future! A donation QR code will be available shortly and at each film showing. Q: Should I bring a chair/blanket? The pier is concrete/brick so we do suggest camping chairs being more comfortable. Some people bring blankets as well. We will have a limited supply of chairs to rent. Q: Can I bring food/drink? As with any outdoor open event in a park or such, food is up to you! In the past, many have come early to claim their spot and “picnic” before the movie starts. As we are surrounded by lots of bars/restaurants, there are several dining options for before the movie or as "to-go." Q: What time do the movies start? Movies will start “at dusk” or as when it is dark enough, so will vary slightly each week. For the summer, 8:45 is a rough estimate, but we always suggest being early, so you can claim your spot and get settled before the movie. This also gives you time to pick up food or shop our great local businesses! Q: Where can we park? We always suggest walking/biking, etc., and we are right next to the Water Taxi stop, but parking is available at several garages. Premier Parking, located at 950 S. Caroline (lot P2306), has partnered to give exclusive rates each Wednesday this summer. This is a pre-pay by license plate lot. https://www.premiumparking.com/P2306
Q: What if it rains? We will not hold movies in severe weather conditions. Stay tuned to the page or twitter on the day of the event for any cancellation/rescheduling.
