Since then, the SECDC has focused on commercial projects in the Highlandtown community. Major properties were successfully redeveloped as a youth center, a performing arts center, a public library, and a private residence. In most of these cases the organization was not the ultimate developer, but was able to facilitate the accomplishment of community priorities through funding and site control. T

: The Summer Concert Series is firing up in Patterson Park this Sunday! From 6pm - 8pm, Afropop band, Elikeh will take the stage at the Patterson Park Observatory, mixing infectious rhythms from Togo and Nigeria with American and Latin influences. You can bring chair or a blanket, but you'll probably be dancing as the sun sets!
