The Mong Lab is a neurobiology based research group at the University of Maryland, Baltimore that investigates the entire arousal spectrum, including sleep, wake and drug-induced arousal. We evaluate how ovarian hormones may naturally modulate these states of arousal behaviorally, and investigate the mechanistic underpinnings that result in these behavioral changes.
