See how they do me? 😂 I came to support a poetry slam in Baltimore, minding my business, and somehow the host grabs the mic talking about “American Idol finalist George Lovett is in the building!” Sir… that was 10 years ago 😅

Next thing I know, the mic is in my hand and now I gotta sing like Ryan Seacrest backstage waiting on results. But I love my city, so I had to give them a little “Ruby.” ❤️🎤

I swear I pulled up just to support my brother Therron and mind my business… but apparently every venue has a ‘hand George the mic immediately’ policy. 😂 The cigar smoke had that room looking like a 70s soul album cover, but I still sang and whistled my way through it. Singing the national anthem at Sofi Stadium in front of thousands of screaming fans has officially become the biggest audience I’ve ever performed for. The energy was electric… and I’m not just talking about the blue leather suit I’m wearing 🥶

Nothing says New York City like getting stopped on the street by a man with a microphone and absolutely no warning. Naturally, I had to sing… and throw in a little whistle of my song, “Ruby.” 🎤✨ Hope y’all enjoyed the mini sidewalk concert. Much love to
