🌟 DAY 8 of THE HOLIDAYS is here!! 🌟

🍷 is such a necessity during the holidays and as the weather gets colder, sitting on the couch in front of the fire with a glass of wine sounds about right. I used to only drink white, but now all you'll find me drinking is a bold cab. Going to smaller wine shops usually means the people there are a little more passionate about what they do and have so much knowledge to share. When I'm looking for something different from my standard, I'll go and ask for recommendations. The guys are always so helpful and they have a great selection of fantastic wines - and spirits, if you need to stock up.

The one downside to really enjoying a red, is the time you should let it breathe. Sometimes, I just don't want to wait. 😐 That's where aerators come in. We've had several over the years and now we even have one that looks like a spout, but I always come back to our tried and true Vinturi. So easy to use and makes your reds ready to drink.

🌟 DAY 6 of THE HOLIDAYS is here!! 🌟

I love baking and I love a good pastry or baked-good. They're hard for me to pass up, even if it's just a bite. Recently a friend of mine turned me on to at and they are to die for! I mean, so good. Yesterday I got the kids a birthday 🎂 crust and a cheddar chive biscuit (I think that's what it was) and I devoured it in about 60 seconds. I've heard their 🦀 pies are incredible, but I haven't been able to score one of them yet.

is one of my favorite places to shop!  I must go there at least once a week.  There's no way you can walk out of Becket Hitch without buying something.  It's perfect for the holidays because you can literally find something for everyone - moms, dads, kids, friends, teachers, co-workers.  Name someone you have to buy for and Kohli and her team can help find something great.
