When I share, I usually like it to be all about the work, but the first post of the year is a good time to say:

Hello from the studio! In case you don’t know, I’m Kate, the woman behind the work. A transplant from Brooklyn, NY, a lover of cities and the woods, of the rusty metal you can find in both places, and of beautiful, colorful stones and precious metals. I care about making work well, with honesty and integrity and precision, and using and reusing quality and ethically-sourced materials. And about adding beauty to the world, of course.
