The Amanda B Hair

Do you ever feel like you’re losing your natural color in between your highlights?
After about a year of just blonding out she felt like she was losing her natural color and becoming *gasp* too blonde.
So, the last two appointments we really focused on building back in some dimension by adding lowlights throughout her hair. It’s a perfect way to ‘go darker for fall and winter’ without giving up being blonde!
When I lowlight I always try to use a formula that mimics my clients natural base color for a seamless blend. Recently I have been using a lot of Color Touch /19 series in my lowlights and root tap formulas. I think it beautifully recreates a natural base in warmth and depth.
We chose to bring her lowlights all the way through her ends to give her dimension all the way down. But if you want to have super blonde ends still and dimension through the midrange of your hair we can always do what I call ‘midlights’.
Midlights are lowlights in every way EXCEPT that I only paint between 1/2 and 2/3 of the way down the hair and blend the rest out with conditioner. You still get all of that gorgeous dimension but don’t lose too much blonde at the bottom. It’s a best of both worlds type situation, blendy throughout but still super blonde.
If this is something you’re interested in, let me know when you book your appointment! We can add these into both the partial and full custom blonding appointments.
