🕰️ Flashback to the early days of the Surfside 84 condo. It’s gone through some pretty drastic design updates over the years, and the living room just got a nice little glow up. Hard to believe there used to be yellow appliances, a mural on the wall, s**g carpet, and some wacky wallpaper throughout. Wouldn’t mind still having those fun orange pleather chairs though! 😍

Although the condo is fully booked this summer, the fall/off season is a great time to go if you prefer quieter days and shorter lines at restaurants.

A “quick” little home improvement project that majorly enhanced the character of my . & I took old wood that was pulled from the house when we opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and repurposed it into shelving in the kitchen, bathroom & dining room. 🔨 7 trips to home improvement stores (although we haven’t gone to return the things we didn’t need yet so better make that 8 😅)
⏰ project timeline tripled what we originally estimated
🪵 3 nasty splinters
📏 at least 27 measurements taken, no cutting mistakes 💪
🎨 The shelves inspired me to touch up some paint and hang some art that’s been sitting around for a few years
🤩 Could not be happier with the finished products
