What a great day at Momentum Church Jasper as 4 saints were baptized!!!

Thank you to James Hall and AHSBA for inviting me to do the devotional and prayer at the Lake Lanier tournament this weekend. This is a great organization for high school anglers to learn about competitive bass fishing while building character and being accountable for academics. It was a blessing to serve you all!

Today I was blessed to go out with Chad for a trip on Lake Lanier. Together we laughed, prayed and discussed life in general. Chad had a lot of sad things happen in his life recently but still stands strong!! I was thankful to have met him and had a blast teaching him some fishing tips. Chad is a quick learner!!! Stay in touch Brother.

My good friend Jason Woodward and I fished our first tournament together last weekend. A 2 day tournament at Logan Martin in Alabama. God was with us as we not only took first place but won big fish for each day. It was a special day that we will never forget!!!

Had the blessing of fishing with Brady at his first tournament. The kid is a stud! He caught the biggest fish!!

Well it was less that ideal conditions today to say the least but we did catch fish. It's always a great day when I get to spend time with my brother in Christ Jason Woodward. For those of you who don't know him he suffered a devastating leg injury that required 17 operations. Lots of ups and downs and struggles but he is finally coming to the end of this terrible ordeal. What makes Jason so special is that over the last 40 months of this suffering , he NEVER complained. Never posts his troubles on Facebook and never looks for sympathy.
Instead He is always smiling and praising God for the blessings he has. He serves in his church and community with a joyful spirit, and is always there to lend an ear or pray for someone else in need. I am honored to call him my Brother and can't wait for some warmer weather so we can fish unmasked lol!
