This year is extra special as we celebrate 250 years of freedom! 🎆🎉 Families and friends will be gathering across the country, and that means bigger celebrations, louder fireworks, and unfortunately… more frightened pets. 🐾💔

The Fourth of July is the #1 day of the year for pets to go missing. 😢

Please take a few minutes to prepare:�🐶 Keep your pets safely indoors.�💊 Give anxiety medication if your veterinarian has prescribed it.�🦺 Use a properly fitted calming vest if it helps.�🏷️ Make sure collars fit correctly and ID tags are attached.�📱 Verify that your pet’s microchip is registered and your contact information is up to date.�🚪 Double-check doors, gates, and fences before guests arrive.�🎶 Turn on a TV or music to help drown out the fireworks.

A few minutes of preparation could save you from days, weeks, or even forever searching for your best friend. ❤️🐾

Right now, we have 20 puppies in our rescue, with 5 more arriving today. That means tiny paws, full bellies… and a whole lot of messes. 💛

We go through puppy pads at an unbelievable rate just to keep our puppies clean, dry, healthy, and comfortable while they wait for their forever families. Every single pad makes a difference.
