BCSD Summer Meals Pick-Up!

Spread the word and help us reach families in our community!

Pick up 10 days' worth of free meals for children ages 2–18 on July 6 and July 20 at Stiern Middle School.

Drive-thru available while supplies last.

Children do not need to live within BCSD school district boundaries to receive meals.

A HUGE thank you to every student who participated in this year’s Jr. Chef Competition and to all the families who came out to cheer them on! Your support made the event truly special.

Things were heating up in the kitchen! We just wrapped up our 3rd Annual Jr. Chef Competition, and the talent was incredible. Our students showed off their creativity, teamwork, and love for healthy, delicious food. BCSD Nutrition Services is proud to bring students and families together to celebrate nutrition and fun in the kitchen!

¡La cocina estuvo llena de emoción! Acabamos de concluir nuestro 3er Concurso Anual de Jr. Chef, y el talento fue increíble. Nuestros estudiantes demostraron creatividad, trabajo en equipo y su amor por los alimentos saludables y deliciosos. En BCSD Nutrition Services, estamos orgullosos de reunir a estudiantes y familias para celebrar la nutrición y la diversión en la cocina.

BCSD Nutrition Services invites all young food lovers to participate in the 2025-2026 Jr. Chef Competition!

Students (K–8) can submit a healthy recipe they’ve tried at home.
Eighteen finalists (two from each grade level, K-8) will cook LIVE with the help of an adult assistant.
Food + equipment will be provided.
