We are happy to support one of Rotary's seven areas of focus, desease prevention and treatment.

We would like to thank the Azusa High World Events Club for inviting us to participate in a very important meeting. The World Events Club cabinet invited our Azusa Mayor and one of the five Azusa School board members as guest speakers. The meeting was positive, simple, and very educational. As students, it is important that we get to know who our elected officials are and what they are doing to make our city a safe, and great place to live in. The meeting was very informative. We were happy to share a few of our ideas and to be a voice in our community. One of the most interesting things many of us learned is that the school district and city are two different governing bodies, this helps us understand where to focus our energy when we have a question or concern. We would like to thank the WEC's amazing club advisor for supporting the club cabinet and allowing them to be resourceful.
