Meet Teresa!
Teresa is a very sweet, 8 months old female that was trapped while we were assisting with TNR efforts as part of our community outreach.
It was very quickly determined, that Teresa was injured and unable to use her left front leg.
She is also very calm and even though timid, she can be handled easily and we took her into the rescue to make sure her leg could get medical attention.
After a visit with Dr Casida it became clear that the leg has no feeling, no muscle structure, it's completely unusable and is only causing issues for Teresa. We made the decision to amputate the leg to give her the best chance at a long and happy life.
She goes into surgery next Tuesday, January 27th .
Since we just had Elara go through eye removal surgery, our finances are very limited, but we will do everything in our power come up with the funds to help Teresa as well.
