It's the Holiday Season!

Staying CREATIVE while staying at home idea.
I Designed this space several years ago. I'm known as the "Look Up Designer", ceilings are overlooked far too often.
These clients had lived in this house for ten years.
When she expressed her love for a complicated Cinnamon-Red-Gold-Black lamp shade color, I decided to Design the ceiling with her Colorful Desire. I always have the BEST crew, Rikk Mayr, to fabricate my ideas.
The clients had never even noticed the incredible design in the plaster when it was White. The beauty of the Plater Artist just came to life.
PAINT a ceiling creatively while you are home. Instead of being "stuck at home" be "home, stuck in creativity".
Dining Rooms & 1/2 baths are a great place to start.
How about adding a Metalic, solid or dry-brushed on? Practice different techniques and the use of several layers of color.

Our little "French Chateau" is really starting to come alive. Cathy and I have grand plans for our little beauty.
Before and during/after photo. We have a long way to go. Special Order & Custom made features take time. Hoping to get Cathy moved in by next Christmas. Yes, PATIENCE is required when working on a Masterpiece.
I'm so very proud of Cathy. Her desire to NOT have a Cookie-cutter home is why I agreed to be her Designer ..... blessed.

Christmas Decorating can be Serious Business! It also though, at the same time, can be FUN and Lighthearted. Yes all in the same house.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The Modern French Chateau is such a fun and challenging project! Decisions, decisions ....... Gutters, Soffit & Downspout color choices happening now. It is my advice that one either choose to go with the color on the body of the house or choose a color that disappears into the roof, but ALWAYS have the downspouts the color of the body of the house.
