FL Green Development seeks an experienced, organized professional engineer to join our team. The main products we work with are windows and solar panels.

Requirements:

Must be able to do sketches for windows

Must be familiar with solar codes in Florida

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited school.
Licensed as a professional engineer.
Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering in FL
Proficient in design and calculation software.
Ability to create sketches for windows

Preferred but not required: Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Responsibilities

Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

We are looking for outgoing, talkative people to help promote our company and bring in new customers in local areas. Generate high qualified leads by engaging in door-to-door canvassing in neighborhoods setting up residential appointments for Fl Green Development.

Duties & Responsibilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Frequent walking/standing for 4-8 hours per day
Must be comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
We are generating appointments for our sales team- this position does not require you to actually do the selling- you would just be setting an appointment!

Door-to-Door Experience with Outside Sales focus
Energetic, eager & passionate
Reliable & Trustworthy
Must have reliable transportation to get to/from our office on work days
Flexibility to work evenings & weekends
1+ years in canvassing, telemarketing, appointment setting, retail or sales related role a plus but not required
Home Remodeling and Energy industry knowledge is a plus
