“I was in the system for over a decade and didn’t know what seems now as very simple and intuitive systems that helped my pain and outlook. The biggest symptom of my pain—the burning in my legs and thighs—has completely gone. I feel kinder to myself and more at ease since learning what really causes pain.” – Jordan

Before coaching, Jordan felt trapped by chronic pain and fatigue, with every day feeling like a mountain to climb. Therapy, many different medications, and lifestyle changes had not moved the dial.

Here’s what changed:
💡 Understanding the science of pain—how the brain and body communicate.
💡 Learning how to calm the nervous system and retrain the brain’s protective responses.
💡 Building self-compassion and releasing fear around pain.

The result? A huge reduction in Fibromyalgia symptoms greater emotional ease, and a newfound ability to manage their symptoms without fear.

🚨 Pain isn’t just physical—it’s your brain’s protective mechanism. And the good news is, you can retrain it. Jordan now has less pain, and feels more equipped, more at ease, and more empowered to live a full life.

🧠 Fibromyalgia is not a life sentence. It responds very well to this method as it is primarily a disorder of central sensitization - an over protective brain.

If you have pelvic pain, you are probably pretty convinced there's something going wrong down there. It certainly feels like there should be a disease process or abnormality to blame for the sensations you experience.

This study showed a central sensitization component to pelvic pain. Meaning, your brain and nervous system is making a mistake. Like a fire alarm going off when you burn toast.

my case and many other clients I have worked with, their pain went away with brain retraining because it was never due to physical issues. Especially if you have inconclusive findings in imaging, it is much more likely that your brain is hypersensitive than there is a pathology.

These changes can be reversed because our amazing brains are constantly reshaping themselves. New circuits can be made, sensory neurons can be pruned back - by thought and behaviour change alone. This is what we work on together in coaching and can be the path to freedom from chronic pelvic pain and symptoms.

There are many plausible physical or structural root causes for chronic pain. We may also have beliefs that we should expect to have this pain because of genetics, diagnosed conditions, "wear and tear" or our age.

It is not that simple. Pain can be from these issues OR they can be a red herring that keeps you chasing solutions that will never work.

The brain and nervous system are the root of all pain. Therefore, pain can have absolutely no physical cause. A hypervigilant brain, unprocessed trauma, chronic sympathetic arousal can all cause over sensitization of the pain signalling system in the brain.

If you have chronic pain, it's time to dive below the surface and understand these hidden factors.
