My interests lie in human history, the forces and forms found in nature and the connection between science and spirituality. My work is a celebration as well as trepidation toward life and death. I am intrigued by the duality of existence being both beautiful and mysterious. When making art I am asking questions rather than seeking answers.

Ah ha! I found a clearer image of the orchid and was able to see the actual form and all of the detail. I repainted it! It still needs more detail.

Oh yeah....I'm feeling like myself again. There's nothing like having a gratifying and productive day in the studio to change my outlook on life.

This Wednesday, September 25th!
Please stop by the ACC Highland Campus in the building 4000 art gallery. I'm one of five (faculty) artists who will be giving an artist talk from 5-6:00 PM. There will be a Q & A afterwards.

I just picked up two custom made panels from Ampersand Claybord, in Buda today. Huge beautiful, blank surfaces!! The one in this photo is 36" x 48". I can't wait to get started on my Painted Bunting (memorial) painting.
