A two-time Grammy winner, four-time CMA Award recipient, and artist behind four #1 country singles and five gold albums, Mattea has spent 35 years earning her reputation as one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters. Her latest album, Pretty Bird, produced by roots music veteran Tim O’Brien, reflects a period of deep recommitment to her craft, and her live performances carry that same intention. You may also know her as the current host of NPR’s long-running Mountain Stage and a featured contributor in Ken Burns’ acclaimed 2019 PBS documentary Country Music.
