During Thanksgiving week, beloved Sheverb trumpet player James was the victim of a horrific bicycle accident. They were riding home from work in Tucson, AZ, when a driver struck them from behind and fled the scene, leaving James in the road. We are eternally grateful to the strangers who stopped to call 911 and save their life.

They are going to recover, but it’s going to be a long, hard process - with substantial medical bills, and gainful employment is a ways down the road. The gruesome injuries included two broken upper arms, a pierced knee joint, a fractured pelvis, a broken orbital bone, a severely broken jaw, and substantial dental trauma. James is lucky to be alive, is being cared for by a loved one, and needs our help.
