🎶🚂 **Please welcome Folsom to New Hope Animal Rescue!** 🚂🎶

Just in time for Independence Day, Folsom finally left doggie jail behind and traded his *prison blues* for a second chance. ❤️

This adorable **3-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua** is already proving what a wonderful little guy he is. He's now neutered and needs a foster home or better yet, someone who is ready to adopt him!

Between his irresistible little underbite and his sweet, gentle personality, it's almost impossible not to fall in love with him.

Folsom entered the shelter with two other small dogs, so we were hopeful he'd be dog friendly—and he hasn't disappointed! He's been great with dogs both big and small, even happily snuggling with a tiny 7-pound foster sibling (more on this little girl soon!)

He's also discovered that being part of a family is pretty wonderful. Whether you're making dinner, folding laundry, or relaxing on the couch, Folsom likes to quietly keep you company. If you can't find him, don't panic... just look down. Chances are he's patiently sitting at your feet.

He responded immediately to the name Folsom like it was his name all along; but he comes when he's called and attaches quickly to his new person. He enjoys bedtime snuggles, and seems house trained if he gets the right amount of potty breaks.

We're so excited to watch this little guy continue to blossom, and we can't wait to help him find the forever family he deserves. He's full of personality, sweetness, he's calm and quiet. He just wants to be your best friend.
