Moja Tu
Moja Tu, a 501(c)(3) was started in January 2013 by Kathy Kempff and Christine Kempff. During a philanthropic trip to Africa in August 2012 where they volunteered at an orphanage in Kenya, they discovered a growing need to provide education to children. Moja Tu provides educational sponsorships to students with financial need with the goal of ending the cycle of poverty.

Vincent just graduated ๐ from high school. Thanks to his sponsorโs support, he finished his studies and will start university this September.
At first, the support was financial, but over time it grew into a relationship of encouragement, guidance, and belief in Vincentโs potential. ๐

At Moja Tu, sponsorship goes beyond school fees. It creates space for ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
Sponsors become mentors and cheerleaders, walking alongside students in their journey.
Through letters, video calls, mentorship, and sponsor visits to Kenya, students feel seen, supported, and encouraged to dream bigger.
They gain more than educationโthey gain confidence, hope, and a sense of belonging.
At Moja Tu, connection transforms lives.
