Brownsville ISD school employees deserve respect!

Earlier this afternoon, BISD Board of Trustees held a special called meeting where they decided on retention bonuses. BEST AFT made the case for a $1,000 retention bonus for employees this winter. Board members went ahead and only approved a $500 bonus.

Spring Board of Trustees approves $500 one-time supplement to all full time employees and $250 one-time supplement to all part-time employees! Members sent over 1,800 letters in support of a similar resolution just last month and where instrumental in this win!
