At our schools we don’t have report cards. But we do measure academics and life skills. For our life skills we have our “Test to Pass.” These are different measurements every six weeks to measure how well each student has learned the life skill for that particular workshop. The life skills we focus on are “public speaking, financial literacy, grit, teamwork, and giving back to our community.”

Kids should love school. It’s our #1 commitment to every student and family. It sounds simple but it shapes everything we do. And when you take it seriously, this philosophy radically reshapes how our schools operate in every way!! We survey our students every 6 weeks and ask a simple question-“do you love school?” We average 90%-95% yes. And for the students that don’t respond yes, we evaluate why and try to fix it!
