Since the first lottery ticket was sold in 1992, the Texas Lottery has generated more than $35 billion in revenue for the State of Texas through fiscal year 2022 – including more than $29 billion for the Foundation School Fund and more than $192 million for the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
