Some buildings are made of more than just stone and mortar.
Before it was the Clay Pit, this was the Bertram Building, constructed in 1853. From a family home to a trading post, these walls have seen over 170 years of Austin history. But according to local lore, some of the past residents never actually moved out.
From the mysterious tunnels below to the heavy energy of the upstairs rooms, the history here is as rich as the menu.
