In our latest episode, we stopped by Rollin' Smoke BBQ in East Austin. It was only a matter of time before we featured Texas BBQ, and this spot did not disappoint. Owner Kyle Stallings and his team have created inventive, incredibly flavorful BBQ and sides, all served from one of Austin's favorite destinations.
Kyle isn't beholden to any one style. Instead, he takes inspiration from what excites him most, creating a fresh take on Texas BBQ while still respecting the tradition. He shares more about his approach in the video.
Everything we tried was outstanding, but our personal favorites were the burnt ends, the Hog Roll, and the smoked mac & cheese. The menu is always evolving, with new specials and creative dishes, so there's always a reason to come back.
