Growing up, you never imagine you’ll bury your little brother.

When he passed two years ago, I wasn’t prepared.

When the nurse from the emergency room called, she had to tell me three times…

He and I had always been two peas in a pod.
We had survived the unthinkable together.

This was supposed to be our golden years…
but instead, his heart failed and now he’s forever 52.

Grief doesn’t end… it just learns how to live beside love and I haven’t mastered that yet. Suggestions please and thank you 🙏🏻🥺💚
