Viva Victor

is one of my favorite bands of all time. I’ve been listening to them since high school and learned all about Major 7ths and b5s while figuring out how to play their songs. They’ve had a huge influence one my songwriting and their music just makes me happy.

Long ago, they were going to play in San Francisco, but I lived in LA. I didn’t have the means to get there and I thought I missed the only opportunity I’d have to see them. Luckily, they went on tour for their 25th anniversary as a band and Austin was one lf their stops. On February 15th, Autumn took me to see them play. As per usual, she spoiled me and we got one of their signed records.

We were so close to the stage, right in front of . They played for about 2 hours and were absolutely amazing. I wished they played every single one of their songs. Grateful for the connection to the Russian language, the joy, and how full I felt after the show. Love you for making a dream come true.
