We celebrated National Pizza Party Day the yummiest way—with a delicious lunch from Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, and oh honey, we had options! 👏

Thanks to the generosity of Mardi Benedict at Valerian Home Health and Hospice, we were treated to three kinds of pizza:
🧀 Classic Cheese
🍕 Pepperoni
🍔 Hamburger

And let’s not forget the fresh salad on the side to balance all that cheesy goodness! 🥗✨

Our residents were grinning from ear to ear—there’s just something about pizza that brings folks together. 💛

💪🧠 Move & Groove + Brain Boost! 🧠💪

We got the blood pumpin’ and the brains jumpin’ this morning with some energizing full-body seated exercises followed by a fun round of Trivia Time! 🪑🎉

From toe taps to arm stretches, we kept it moving with big smiles and upbeat tunes. Then we switched gears and tested our knowledge with a little friendly trivia—lots of laughs, great guesses, and even a few surprise smarty-pants in the room! 😄🧩🎶

Yesterday's Crafts with Katrina was extra sweet because we celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day too! 🍫🥳

We sipped on milk, popcorn, and juice (cranberry or apple—fancy, right? 😉) while munching on delicious, gooey chocolate chip cookies that hit the spot! 🍪🥛🍿

Then it was time to get creative! Everyone picked up their paintbrushes and colored their hearts out on fun, summertime wooden crafts—think sunshine, flip-flops, and beachy dreams! Thank you Aspen Hospice and Palliative Care North for all that you do! 🌞🎨🌊

💅🍊 Primp & Pamper at Rose’s Nail Salon 🍊💅

Today’s spa vibes were in full effect as I got to treat the lovely Ms. Barbara to a refreshing nail session in Primp and Pamper!

We started with a good cleaning, trim, and file, making sure everything was smooth and tidy… then came the fun part—polish time! 🎨✨ Ms. Barbara picked out a bright, beautiful orange that suits her vibrant spirit perfectly.

There’s nothing like a fresh coat of confidence and a little one-on-one time to brighten the day! 🧡
