From death to life! Don’t stop praying. God works miracles! After receiving the gracious gift of a second chance in May, he has recovered amazingly. We are down to traveling once a month to his transplant team. Everyday he is getting stronger. For every moment, every new breath, we are thankful.

My heart is full and beyond thankful.

Joyfully crying a bit this morning. Many might not know that there is a scoring system for end stage liver disease, called the MELD score. It ranges from 6-40.

6 means HEALTHY liver and 40 means you need to urgently get transplanted within 3 months time, very close to death. At one moment in our battle, Robert had scored a 38.

Today, his new gift from a kind soul gave him a MELD score of 7.
That resonates joy, thankfulness and great hope for a future with him in it. Thank you God and thank you to our donor.
