We’re so happy for our friends at Austin Powwow on the opening of Austin’s first Native American Cultural Center (NACC)!

The Native American Cultural Center is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Native American traditions and culture, supporting Native youth and families, and educating the broader public.

To get engaged, check out their calendar of events: They have a powwow fundraiser coming up on Friday, October 24 at Central Machine Works, and their 33rd Annual Austin Powwow is on Saturday, November 22. They also host weekly sewing and beading classes and have more programs to be announced.

The design on their shirts was made by Tokeya Waci U, an Oglala Lakota and Haliwa-Saponi artist.

Congrats to on 30 years!!! If you love outsider art, you need to check out Yard Dog. I always loved popping by your space on Congress and now we’re glad to have you as neighbors just down the street at Canopy.

Our prints will last longer than the shirts!! Our friends at Magnolia Cafe just sent us this picture of one of their shirts from 9/9/1999. It was more expensive to include the print date detail on each order, but it’s just so cool. Worth it 1000x over.

Relics of advertising past! ⛏️ Most of these are from the late 80’s to early 00’s for the yellow pages and some local music magazines. After 37 years, our claims are still true: fast turn around times, free local delivery, an in-house custom art department, AND we print for some of the best bands in town. 😘 I like these ads because you can see our early progression from Twomey Road near Zilker (where casa de Luz is now) to 5th street downtown (now home to Antone’s) as well as some interesting design choices.
