Loved celebrating Ms. O’Brien yesterday as our 2026 Teacher of the Year!

To culminate our reading of Dogtown for One School, One Book and demonstrate empathy, Zilker Panthers took on a schoolwide service project with the help of kinder parent and longtime Austin Animal Center volunteer, Jenn Evans. The librarian, counselors, classroom teachers, parent volunteers, and community came together to make grade level projects that matched the current needs of the shelter this holiday season.

We had so much fun at Holiday Lights Around the World! Our holiday cultural celebration included food, crafts and singing.
