Popular for birding, windsurfing, fishing, & pristine beach experiences… it’s a must visit when traveling Texas.

The temps will be rising soon & we have some tips to keep your RV feeling cool during the peak temperature during the summer months.
1) Seek shade. Park in the shade, if possible. Keep your curtains & shades closed during the day. Pack a tarp to create extra shade when needed.
2) If possible, start your A/C early so it can maintain cool temps all day.
3) Maintain A/C filters pre-trip.
4) Park your rig so it’s not facing the afternoon sun, if possible.
5) Try covering windows that face the afternoon sun with reflective coverings.
6) Strategically use the roof fans alongside with the A/C & minimize indoor heat sources like cooking.
