Modeling Brain Aging and Resilience Over the Lifespan Reveals New Individual Factors 06/01/2026

🧠 Exciting findings from Dr. Audrey Duarte's Memory and Aging Lab were recently highlighted by the Cognitive Neuroscience Society.

New research suggests that even mild symptoms of depression may contribute to memory difficulties as we age. The team is also exploring how factors such as sleep, social support, and physical activity may help build resilience and support healthy cognitive aging.

By studying a diverse group of participants across the lifespan, our team hopes to develop more personalized approaches to promoting brain health and reducing age-related memory decline.
