The Texas Riparian Association is a statewide organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Texas communities, by promoting an appreciation of the benefits of healthy rivers. TRA pursues its mission by identifying and filling information needs, and by communicating with professionals in the field of land and water conservation, public officials, landowners, academia, and the people of Texas.

Our partners at Hill Country Alliance are hosting a Hillside Stewardship Workshop on Saturday, March 28th for Hill Country landowners who are interested in reducing erosion, enhancing groundwater infiltration, and boosting plant productivity on their property. This hands-on field day will be hosted at Pure Pastures Ranch in Canyon Lake, TX.

Texas forest and woodland landowners are now eligible to receive up to $80,000 for reforestation practices on their property through the Texas Resilient Landscapes Initiative.
The initiative is offering $3.2 million in cost-share funding over the next four years.
The funding is focused on supporting reforestation efforts in areas vulnerable to risk of loss from disaster or environmental change. Eligible tracts must have lost trees due to a natural disaster, disease, or weather extremes in the past 10 years
