Glory to God for this glorious weather that allowed me to accomplish my 11 mile run as part of my training for the 3M half marathon in January! Let me tell you why this is so important to me and so significant. Some of you know that 25 years ago, I had complete hip reconstruction to my right hip due to a rare congenital disease called fibrous dysplasia. So, fast forward 25 years later and now I am turning 50 next year and running a half marathon! I feel pretty great about that! I feel humbled and grateful, but I also know the grit it takes to recover from an injury physically and emotionally. I want all of you to remember that you can always Begin Again. Join me if you can for the full run, or maybe just run a section with me, or just come and cheer me on! I'd love to see you out there!

Good morning Austin! There is nothing more peaceful than a Town Lake sunrise and an early morning run. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Grateful. Looking forward to fall weather in Atown!
