For TACC's Expanding Pathways in Computing (EPIC) team, summer brings a whirlwind of activity, including the addition of new team members.

Stephen Michalik (left) has joined the team as a Computer Science Education Recruitment Coordinator. In this role, he will build partnerships with educators, schools, districts, and professional development providers to grow participation in the EPIC and WeTeach_CS initiatives.

Travis Garcia (right) joins EPIC as a Computer Science Education Specialist. In this role, he will design and deliver professional development for K–12 educators.

New book release from TACC's Victor Eijkhout!

A longtime expert in high performance computing, Victor supports cutting-edge research, teaches HPC at The University of Texas at Austin, and develops software for some of the world's largest supercomputers.

His latest book, Scientific Computing in Modern C++, explores modern C++ techniques for scientific computing and is now available from SIAM.
